Welcome to Camp Avondale and the Avondale Scout Reservation. Avondale has been a home for Scouts and Scouters since the summer of 1957. Over the years, Avondale Scout Reservation has expanded its original 1200 acres to more than 1600 acres with over 100 campsites and structures for Scouts to utilize. With its beautiful lakes, lush fields, extensive trails, and green woodlands Avondale Scout Reservation is a place of wonder and beauty. Camp Avondale captures the very essence of Scouting and brings new life and new adventures with every visit.

Every year we bring together Scouters from around the country to be a part of an experience you know as Summer Camp. To make this our best summer ever we have pulled out all the stops. Joining together your reviews and our ingenuity we have come up with the experience of a lifetime; Summer Camp 2013 - A Week at the Movies. We want you to have the best Summer Camp experience ever, but the only way we can ensure that you do is if you, along with your Scouts, come to Camp Avondale this summer. This year we have brought back our amazing and energetic staff along with the same warm Avondale Spirit you have come to know and love. Our new Adventure Programs and evening activities will be sure to enthuse and captivate. In addition, our new Merit Badge “Pair Program” will enhance your Scouts experience as well as push them forward on their way toward Eagle.

Now more than ever is the best time to attend Camp Avondale Summer Camp. New and enhanced programs, a bigger staff, terrific food, fun evening activities, and of course, YOU! Scouters like you and your boys make scouting what it is today. In a very large way, being involved with your Scouts today helps these young men become who they will be tomorrow. As fellow Scouters we would like to thank you for the time you have invested in your youth for which none of this would be possible.
