The Avondale Summer Camp Program includes all activities provided for your unit’s participation from the time of your arrival until the time of your departure .

- Improvised changes to the program schedule may be made during camp based on Scouts’ desires and needs (these changes will not hinder the progress towards advancement)

Our intention and hope is that you and your Scouts enjoy the new programs offered in 2011 just as much as the traditional programs offered over the last 50 years.

Camp Avondale provides a daily five-period program schedule and epecially scheduled night sessions. A motivated Scout can earn up to seven merit badges during one week of camp, however, we suggest that a Scout should not overload their schedule so that they may have time to experience the other adventures Camp Avondale has to offer.

In addition to the merit badges and special programs offered in 2011, there are many other activities for Scouts and Leaders alike. There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the earth, water, and spirit that is Camp Avondale.
